On Saturday 9th March, the Panel met for the first time to learn about climate adaptation. The Panel heard from;

Jackie Homan - Head of Environment at the West Midlands Combined Authority who gave a recap of the WMCA and our work on the environment.

Emma Ferranti - Associate Professor at the University of Birmingham who presented on the impacts of climate change and climate risk and vulnerability in the West Midlands.

Luke Martin - LRF Tactical Officer from the Local Resilience Forum presented on the response to extreme weather events.
