Since introducing the Wellbeing Nurse and a dedicated Wellbeing Room accessible to the Street Pride service, there has been a notable increase in employee engagement with mental health support services. Where staff were once hesitant to seek external counselling, they now feel comfortable booking appointments with the Wellbeing Nurse. This shift reflects a growing willingness among employees to address mental health concerns proactively, enabling early intervention and reducing the escalation of issues. 

Additionally, the organisation’s wellbeing initiatives, such as evening yoga sessions and the Park Run programme, have been celebrated by employees. One participant shared how yoga inspired them to explore other online wellbeing activities, leading to sustained health improvements. The Park Run has also been praised for fostering camaraderie and promoting physical activity, with participants enjoying the opportunity to come together and enhance team spirit while prioritising their wellbeing. 

These successes highlight the organisation's progress in building a workplace culture where mental health and holistic wellbeing are normalised, valued, and supported at every level.
