Take a look at the impact project work

A range of project work is being undertaken in priority areas within and across Mayoral Regions to understand and capitalise on opportunities to improve health and reduce inequalities.

This work is being delivered through the MRP central team and CA embedded posts, ensuring that value is added to business-as-usual activities.

Central team core work

Throughout delivery year 1 the MRP central team has been focused on the following priority thematic work areas:

  • Work and Health
  • Health in All Policies (HiAP) and other approaches to maximise regional potential to address health inequalities
  • Work and Health
  • Political landscapes and Devolution

As part of the MRP central team’s ‘core’ activity, the following outputs have been disseminated to cross-regional colleagues regarding priority thematic work areas:

Health in All Policies:

  • A Health in All Policies Toolkit for Mayoral Regions to facilitate understanding and implementation of HiAP levers, strategy, monitoring and evaluation. We are hosting a launch event on the Health Equity Network on Thursday the 27th of March 2025.
  • The central team is now working with West Midlands, West Yorkshire, North East and other interested MRs to support the implementation of HiAP within their regional contexts.
  • You can access and download the Toolkit and self-assessment tools using the buttons below:

Work and Health:
