Apply for the West Midlands Combined Authority's £200m funding pot to deliver housing and regeneration schemes
Private and public sector investors and developers who share our ambitions and have a proven record of delivery, can apply to access a £200m grant funding pot to enable the delivery of housing-led developments and quality placemaking.
West Midlands Combined Authority’s (WMCA) £200m funding pot will help to unlock over 12,000 homes for the region, including at least 2,400 affordable dwellings. This is an exciting opportunity to drive the delivery of ‘difficult to deliver’ high-quality homes and places across the region.
WMCA intervene as the ‘funder of last resort’ in schemes with demonstratable market failure, as defined by HM Treasury.
Funding applicants must meet a series of criteria which includes delivering brownfield remediation within the WMCA area, demonstrating market failure on their proposed site, and unlocking new homes with at least 20% being affordable.
