Local Transport Plan Sessions

In November 2024, the Panel met for the final time to consider the WMCA's Local Transport Plan.

The Plan is being updated and we asked the Panel to consider what the future of transport could look like across the region. 

We asked them to consider what measures they would accept and what additional measures they would need to reduce their car usage. 

The outcomes of this Panel will help to inform the new Local Transport Plan.

Local Transport Plan Session 1

The Panel spent a morning online, learning about the Local Transport Plan and what the future of our transport might look like across the region.

Local Transport Plan Session 2

Our final session with the Panel saw them take part in a deep democracy debate for us to understand what transport measures they are willing to accept.
