Witton Lakes Eco Hub

Opened in 2022 Witton Lakes Eco Hub is a former park keepers cottage transformed into a multi-functional ecofriendly community facility.

The funded project will see the development of underused areas of the land around the Hub to create a variety of biodiverse areas including a butterfly garden, bee garden, newt and frog hibernaculum and raised beds for wheelchair users.

Nature inspired craft workshops will take place aimed at local people to give them the opportunity to create wildlife habitats and increase local access to green space.
