Geraldine loves engaging in a wide variety of cultural activity from brilliant fiction (last read Whale by Cheon Myeong-Kwan) to great performance and exhibitions.  Most recently being inspired by Fierce’s Artists Behind Bars and Entangled Pasts at the RA.

Geraldine Collinge is the CEO of Compton Verney.


Geraldine (she/her) is CEO of Compton Verney, which connects people with 120 acres of art, nature and creativity.  Prior to this she spent twelves years as a Director at the RSC focusing on changing the RSC’s relationship with artists, audiences and communities.  She is particularly proud of leading the £4.5m Swan Wing capital project and a series of events to mark the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death. Earlier in her career she led Apples and Snakes for 10 years and worked at Battersea Arts Centre as Programme Manager. 

Geraldine is also a Trustee of Fierce Festival and Deputy Chair of Culture Central.
