Doreen Foster

Director, Warwick Arts Centre.

Doreen is Director at Warwick Arts Centre a role she started in September 2018. Between April 2013 and June 2018 she was deputy director at Black Cultural Archives where she led its £5m Heritage Lottery Capital project and strategic and operational planning and implementation.

Previously, Doreen was chief executive at Bernie Grant Arts Centre leading its £15m capital project and the launch of the centre. She has held regional and national roles with the Arts Council, and managed regeneration projects in the West Midlands. Doreen is a Trustee at clean Break Theatre, Heart of Glass (St Helens) and Triangle Trust. Doreen is a 2005/06 Clore Fellow.
