Pamela Cole-Hudson
CEO & Artistic Director, Gazebo Theatre.
Pamela Cole-Hudson is CEO and Artistic Director of Gazebo Theatre, where she has worked for almost 20 years. As well as their position as one of the longest standing Theatre In Education companies still in existence in the UK, Gazebo deliver a raft of national touring theatre, media production, community arts, and applied arts programmes supporting people into employment and education, addressing issues around health, emotional wellbeing and desistance from criminal activity, providing therapeutic support, out of schools hours activities and ensuring cultural access for all.
Prior to her work at Gazebo, Pamela worked as an actor, freelance creative practitioner and established a Youth Arts Charity within her local community in Wolverhampton, in response to the lack of opportunities for children and young people. Pamela's writing and directing credits include "Sweet Tooth", "Rivers To Cross", "The Hallowed Turf", "Jamaica50" and "A Sense of Belonging", and acting credits include "Wanted" (also co-writer), "The Sistren" and "Echoes".
Pamela also sits on the board of Directors of Wolverhampton Voluntary Sector Council and is passionate about the role the Voluntary and Community Sector can play within the delivery of services, as well as the role of culture within both economic and social regeneration.
