Does culture shape creativity? Or is it individual creativity that primarily influences culture? Join in the second ACTIVATE masterclass where there will be a deep dive discussion into this fascinating conundrum.
You can register for the FREE masterclass below which is taking place on Thursday 21 November 2024, from 2pm - 5pm at The Iron House Gallery, Birmingham, B19 3JP.
Creativity is the starting point of the cultural evolutionary process. All culture arises from human creativity and new creative acts are built within the context of a particular culture. However, culture also shapes creativity in many ways, lived experience and with new creative acts being build within the context of a particular culture. But which argument is the more robust one?
Bought to you by West Midlands Combined Authority through the ACTIVATE programme, this masterclass will be looking to debate this argument with speakers for and against the motion 'creativity doesn't wait'.
