Communications guideline for the ACTIVATE Programme

West Midlands Combined Authority present ACTIVATE, a programme of support for the Cultural and Creative sector, a development initiative that forms part of the Commonwealth Games Legacy Enhancement Fund.

As you embark on the ACTIVATE journey, this guideline will help you to prepare your communication activities by:

  • Showcasing your involvement in the programme (whether you're a freelancer, business, trainer or facilitator).
  • Boosting your profile.
  • Celebrating your achievements.
  • Increasing your networks and connections.

The communications activity guideline will help to ensure quality, consistency and accuracy of any communications activity such as; creating and posting content on social media platforms, promoting key themes and messages, and use of hashtags. 


Communications Activity: 

For organisations, workshop trainers and facilitators:
Do use the information below to promote within your networks, your involvement with the ACTIVATE programme and be sure to mention what your role is i.e. "We are excited to be part of the #Activateprogramme, as one of the online workshop training providers".

For Activate programme businesses and freelance participants:
As you are now on the ACTIVATE cohort, you can use the following tools to help promote your journey on the Activate programme.
