Thrive into Work - Programme Closure Update

As of July 2025, the Thrive into Work programme has closed to new referrals across the West Midlands. This marks the end of a successful chapter in delivering personalised employment support to residents with health conditions.

Over the past several years, Thrive into Work has supported thousands of individuals into meaningful employment, helping to improve health, wellbeing, and economic independence. We are proud of the impact this programme has had across our communities.

What this means:

• Referrals are now closed
• Existing participants will continue to receive support until the end of contract period.
• Local delivery teams are working closely with participants to ensure a smooth transition and closure of support.

What’s next: Connect to Work

We’re excited to introduce the next phase of support: Connect to Work. This new programme builds on the success of Thrive into Work and will offer tailored employment support to residents across the region, with a particular focus on young people and those facing complex barriers to employment
