Bronze Level Explained

The Bronze level of Thrive at Work focuses on providing accurate and appropriate information to enable employees to make healthier choices on a variety of subjects. Criteria for this level outlines specific actions for businesses, which may include some research into local activities and groups, for example local fitness classes. Activities have minimal direct costs but will require some staff time.

 

Businesses at Bronze level will therefore have some understanding of the importance of good health (including mental health) and wellbeing, and how this affects productivity and performance at work in general. Business will also have appropriate ways of communicating this with staff, including noticeboards, newsletters or an intranet, in addition to a safe working environment which facilitates employees making healthy choices.
