Opportunity for Walsall residents to speak to Richard Parker, Mayor of the West Midlands

Published: Monday 23 Sep 2024

Walsall residents will get the chance to ask Richard Parker, the Mayor of the West Midlands any questions they may have about his policies and priorities, in the first of a series of events on offer across the region.

The first takes place on Wednesday 2 October 2024 from 6.30pm to 7.30pm at The Link Walsall, 46 Park Street, Walsall, WS1 1NG. Places are free but residents are encouraged to book to guarantee their place using Eventbright.

Walsall College’s assistant principal for adults and work based learning, James Norris, will also be there to formally open the event.

The Mayor said: “I’ve set ambitious priorities for the region, and now it’s time for the people of Walsall to have their say. This is your chance to ask me about jobs, homes, growth, or transport – the things that matter most to you.

“I’m here to listen and ensure we’re delivering on what’s important, so join me at The Link. I look forward to hearing your thoughts and working together to shape our future.”

Anyone that is interested in attending can register for their place using Eventbright.

Further dates and locations will be announced in due course.
