Richard Parker, Mayor of the West Midlands, said: “I want local people to have the chance to speak to me directly and ask questions. I’ve set out my priorities for the region, but it’s just as important that I listen to what matters most to residents.

“I’m looking forward to talking to the people of Dudley about how our Metro extension is gathering pace; our new sensors are helping to improve air quality; and to discuss my plans to improve their bus services and build much needed social homes.

“I also want to understand their concerns, answer their questions, and make sure their views help shape the work we do.”
