Free Bus Tickets for the Homeless
In April 2018, the Mayor's Office and the Homelessness Taskforce struck a deal with National Express West Midlands to provide 14,00 day passes to the homeless and those at risk of homelessness.
The bus passes can make life easier for those in need by allowing them to reach essential services like healthcare, counselling and temporary accommodation.
National Express West Midlands have continued to donate bus passes following the success of this pilot scheme, with the total number of people having received passes now exceeding 5,000.
