Creative industries in the West Midlands will soon benefit from a £1.3 million support network. The creative and digital industries are hugely important to the West Midlands, contributing almost £4 billion to our economy. This boost in funding is designed to capitalise on that success and help our creative sector reach new milestones.
The funding is being provided by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and administered through the WMCA. It will enable the WMCA to provide dedicated support to our creative industries, match businesses with investors, and sustain the growth of this industry into 2030 and beyond.
Targeted support will include Access to Finance, Marketing and Branding, Value and Pricing, Intellectual Property and Contract Law and Sales, Pitching and Presenting support. This will be delivered through a series of workshops, seminars and peer-to-peer mentoring sessions.
