Create Central is a private-sector-led industry body established by the West Midlands Combined Authority to oversee the economic growth of the creative industries.
It secures public-sector grants to leverage private-sector investment to develop socially impactful programmes and initiatives and its members comprise some of the UK's most creative thinkers and change makers in CreaTech, TV, games and other creative industries in the West Midlands.
Create Central works with national and regional partners to create an agile and responsive network to turbo-charge the creative industries in the heart of the UK.
Through a unique collaborative leadership model, it connects the region's storytellers with cross-sector initiatives, providing them with a network of opportunities to grow and develop their businesses.
Create Central delivers socially impactful programmes, including skills and networking initiatives, to support the industry's most underrepresented groups.
