THINK GLOBAL: ACT LOCAL

3. Reporting and Benchmarking

Introduction

Organisations are increasingly expected to measure and report their environmental performance. WMCA sees direct benefits to our organisation in doing this to gain a better understanding of exposure to risks, to seek continuous improvements and to demonstrate leadership. In addition, for us benchmarking involves the creation of partnerships to exchange information on processes and measurements. We seek to implement best practices that are found inside and outside our organisation that will help in the setting of realistic improvement goals and strengthen our green credentials.
