On Saturday 2nd November 2024, the Panel spent a morning together, online, to learn about the WMCA's Local Transport Plan. They were introduced to the Plan, to understand what is needed across the region to improve transport provisions and encourage sustainable forms of transport.

They heard from David Harris, Transport Strategy and Place Manager at Transport for West Midlands who explained our regional ambitions, how people currently travel around and what could our transport future look like.
