On Saturday 18th May, the Panel met for the third time to focus on how we can support nature to adapt to the changing climate. The Panel heard from;

Elspeth Sage - Local Nature Recovery Strategy Co-ordinator at the WMCA, who is leading on creating a regional plan to support natures recovery. Elspeth presented to the Panel about the importance of this work and invited the Panel to feed into the priorities for this strategy,

Mike Webb - Natural Capital Senior Programme Manager at the WMCA. Mike presented to the Panel about the decline in nature nationally and in the West Midlands.

Jim Davies - Senior Advisor (Local Nature Recovery Strategies) from the Environment Agency presented on nature can be included within planning to create resilient communities.
